Agile Software Company Announces First Open Source Product With Built-In Server Alerts

Digital Focus, a Command Information company and leader in Agile business consulting, software development and integration services, today announced the initial public release of its flagship open source product, NAG. NAG is a continuous integration monitor which assists agile development teams in monitoring the stability of their applications. NAG monitors servers such as Apache Continuum and immediately notifies users of software build failures via audible and visual queues.

NAG provides basic monitoring and configuration options for the Apache Continuum continuous integration server. Future versions of Digital Focus' NAG, in development, will include support for Cruise Control, Lunt Build, and Ant Hill monitoring. NAG, developed as open source software, encourages developers to submit patches, bug reports, and feedback information to help other professionals collaborate.
