Announcing Major Upgrade of OnDO PBX - Giving Small Businesses Enterprise-Quality VoIP Systems at Small Business Pricing
Thursday, 14 July 2005Brekeke Software, Inc., an emerging VoIP software manufacturer, today announced the release of its upgraded OnDO PBX, an SIP compliant IP-PBX with increased call control performance.
OnDO PBX v1.4 is an enhanced office telephony system that provides robust, high-performance, and intelligent IP-PBX functionality. This IP-PBX software supports the industry-standard VoIP protocol, SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). Designed for scalability from smaller to larger offices, OnDO PBX delivers a highly interoperable product with flexible migration.
New Features in version 1.4
Call Conferencing
Call Conferencing gives customers an affordable and reliable communication channel for less cost. Use call conferencing through the IP-PBX to keep staff informed, involved, and motivated. Instantly create a call conference, easily join a conference or a three-way call, and invite others to join your call with no limitations on the number of callers who can join.
Call Recording
The Call Recording feature of OnDO PBX offers flexible Call Recording options. With Call Recording, users can pre-configure all calls to be recorded, or record calls "on demand" using keypad commands. Optionally, users can receive recorded calls as email attachments to share or save.
Compatible with All Major SIP Phones
Like all Brekeke products, OnDO PBX is compatible with most any SIP phone in the market. Moreover, in this version, users can operate commonly used PBX features with the touch of a button. For example, use Call Hold and Call Transfer with designated standard buttons on most SIP phones. Additionally, the Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) feature has been added to OnDO PBX supported features.
Bandwidth Saving Option Available
Not only is Codec G.711 ulaw supported, OnDO PBX v1.4 now offers codec support for iLBC, and G.711 alaw. With this added support for codec iLBC, users can reduce bandwidth usage by approximately one-third, compared to the usage with G.711.
Multi-Platform Support
OnDO PBX supports multi-platform (Windows, Red Hat Linux, and Solaris) operations.
Save Time and Money on Installation, Configuration, and Administration
The advanced design of OnDO PBX's web-based administration system allows easy navigation through installation, configuration, and administration of OnDO PBX, saving customers time and money on maintenance.
Price per installation is $300. To switch your analog telephony to IP or improve your current telephony system, or voice traffic control, purchase OnDO PBX SmallOffice Edition (v1.4) at: http://www.brekeke.com/en/buy/buy_en.html
