Best-Selling Business Guru Geoffrey Moore to Keynote at 2006 Desktop Linux Summit

The Desktop Linux Summit, the only event to exclusively focus on business and open source for desktop computing, today announced that world-renowned author Geoffrey A. Moore, the visionary behind "Crossing the Chasm" and other classic business bestsellers, will keynote the fourth annual Desktop Linux Summit in San Diego, California. Moore will speak from his newest book, "Dealing with Darwin: How Great Companies Innovate at Every Phase of Their Evolution," and hold a book signing for attendees. The event, sponsored by industry leaders such as Novell and Red Hat, will be held April 24-25, 2006 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in downtown San Diego. Mr. Moore has helped dozens of established companies figure out how to innovate in the face of inertia and escape stagnation. Moore is among Silicon Valley's most sought-after business strategy consultants, serving as a managing partner at TCG Advisors and a venture partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures.
