Dedicated Hosting dream comes true
Thursday, 23 June 2005Comodo, through their Web Hosting and server automation division PSOFT, today unveiled the latest version of the dedicated server control panel CP+. CP+ gives hosting customers the flexibility to manage their own dedicated servers whilst mitigating the risk of server reboots, thus saving time and money to the hosting provider and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Its icon based graphical user interface greatly simplifies day-to-day management of tasks such as web site hosting including DNS management, firewall configuration, and email support.
Aimed at users wishing to securely manage a dedicated Linux server, version 2.5 marks the debut of the new ‘Configure Server’ feature. The new module eases the workload for administrators by facilitating the automatic installation and configuration of Apache, Mail, DNS, MySQL and PostgreSQL servers
Igor Seletskiy, CEO PSOFT commented: “One of the guiding principles behind the development and evolution of CP+ was a desire to create a truly inclusive, customer driven Control Panel. We have always taken care to listen and respond to our clients and striven to incorporate their suggestions into each iteration of the application. Version 2.5 represents the latest example of our commitment to meet and exceed the demands of the CP+ community.”
Other notable enhancements include a much faster user interface, additions to the CP+ Webmail functionality and host of other improvements.
