Eclipse 3.0-based TimeStorm Linux Development Suite Evaluation Kit Available
Wednesday, 19 January 2005TimeSys® Corporation, a leader in embedded Linux® technologies and development tools, today announced the availability of a freely downloadable 14-day evaluation kit for the TimeStorm® Linux Development Suite (LDS). TimeStorm LDS works with all embedded Linux distributions and hundreds of available plug-ins for the Eclipse 3.0 framework, giving developers the flexibility to create the development environment of their choice. TimeStorm LDS is available as a standalone product and as part of TimeStorm® Linux Development Kits (LDKs) for all popular architectures including PowerPC, x86, ARM, XScale, MIPS, SuperH, and SPARC.
TimeStorm Linux Development Suite Evaluation Kit Components
The TimeStorm LDS Evaluation Kit enables developers to test-drive application development/debugging, kernel and driver development/debugging, and root filesystem content creation/configuration. A sample application developer's workspace, a GNU-based toolchain, and complete product and evaluation documentation are also included in the kit. Registration and a Red Hat 9.0-compatible Linux IA-32/x86 host PC are required.
