EDS Selected for U.S. Army Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services Contract
Sunday, 16 July 2006 EDS (NYSE: EDS) (http://www.eds.com/ ) today announced it has been selected as a prime contractor for the U.S. Army's Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services (ITES-2S) contract. EDS is one of 11 companies who were awarded contracts under the nine-year, $20 billion Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. In addition to the Army, the Department of Defense and other federal agencies can use the ITES-2S contract to purchase products and information technology (IT) services; including business process re-engineering, information systems security, information assurance, network support, systems operations and maintenance, program management, enterprise design, integration and consolidation and education and training.
