Emic Achieves Recognition as 'Best Distributed Computing Solution' Finalist

The Software & Information Industry Association announces Emic Application Cluster (EAC) as a finalist for the 20th Annual Codie Awards. EAC enhances open-source software with
database clustering and was nominated by its peers for the award in the
category of "Best Distributed Computing Solution."

Emic develops and markets a complete suite of high-availability, high
performance and manageability solutions for open-source components. Emic's
solutions offer availability, scalability and manageability, allowing
companies to run mission-critical applications on low-cost, open-source
platforms.
