Fast Rabbit Software Introduces Latest Version of Dolce Music Flashcards; Prepares to Release New Downloadable Line of Educational Software
Sunday, 12 March 2006 The latest version of Dolce Music Flashcards has just been released by Fast Rabbit Software, a company specializing in providing downloadable learning software for K through 8 students. By making learning fun, it is a highly successful tool for assisting educators and parents in teaching youngsters how to read music notation as well as getting them excited about music. Now compatible with the newest Mac operating systems, as well as Windows and Linux platforms, it features dual-question counters, a score counter and an optional timer. Results can also be printed with the student's name and time/date stamp for record keeping. The first version of this successful software was introduced in 2002 and has subsequently morphed over the years into its most recently launched incarnation, and to this day remains one of Fast Rabbits' most popular-selling titles. The company is also planning to launch a new interactive reading adventure series this June. The first title in the software series will be "Mystery at Frank's Carnival," a collection of alternate-ending stories that allows readers to make a number of choices along the way, changing the story as they go. It will be available directly through company's website at http://fastrabbitsoftware.com and is geared toward children in grades 3 to 5. Written by Gillian Louise Gregory, a well-known author who has also written Dobbs the Dog Detective, and Illustrated by Christina Hoover, this interactive adventure will teach children about cause and effect -- as well as provide them with other educational lessons along the way.
