GUPTA Appoints New Vice President and Managing Director EMEA & APAC
Thursday, 26 May 2005Gupta Technologies (“GUPTA”) announced today the appointment of Mr. Mark Bygraves as its new VP and Managing Director of EMEA and APAC. In this role, Mr. Bygraves will be responsible for driving GUPTA’s channel sales programs for EMEA & APAC, together with day-to-day operational responsibilities for Northern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Mr. Bygraves has worked in the IT industry for 20 years, and has held a number of senior positions including, most recently, Director of Channels at Hitachi Data Systems, where he established a partner program in the United Kingdom and Europe for their range of Storage RAID Arrays. He was Sales Director at Transformation Software, where he ran their $25 million Storage Division and created channel markets for companies such as Legato, Veritas, and StorageTek. Mr. Bygraves was also instrumental in transitioning Network Associates’ direct business to a channel model on a worldwide basis.
