Infinite Group, Inc. GSA Schedule 70 Contract Expanded
Thursday, 29 June 2006 Infinite Group, Inc. (IGI) (OTCBB:IMCI) today announced that its Information Technology (IT) Federal Supply Schedule awarded to it by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) on December 29, 2003, has recently been expanded to incorporate an abundance of additional labor categories. Under the newly approved Schedule 70 contract, IGI has 85 different types of labor functionalities that it can now extend to federal government customers. This expansion is possible because of their growth since the initial Schedule 70 award. IGI Chief Contracts Officer, Ralph Roman, commented that "the recent contract supplement will provide federal customers with a labor pool of great breadth and depth that can be readily aligned to meet any agencies' information technology needs, at favored rates." IGI's IT Schedule 70 contract is a repository of high and low technology labor categories for the federal government's use in support of their information technology needs, from consulting to systems development and implementation. The contract has a base term of five years and two optional five-year terms. IGI may provide services under the contract to any federal government agency nationwide. State and local governments can also use the Schedule for IT Services. Though the contract has no dollar ceiling, tasks under the contract may be unilaterally awarded by a federal agency to IGI for up to $500,000 per order with no limit on the number of orders. The streamlined nature and simplicity of the federal procurement process makes the contract a practical and expedient tool for agencies to fulfill their information technology needs. IGI has offices in Pittsford, New York, Vienna, Virginia and Jackson, Mississippi. IGI provides business, program management and information technology services and systems support to federal, state and local government and commercial clients. Their business engagements include the operation and support of leading edge, complex programs in advanced computing environments (network services), wireless technology, program and project management, earned value management, risk analysis and management, human capital services, enterprise architecture and biometric technology. They focus on aligning business processes with technology for the delivery of solutions meeting their clients' exact needs.
