JasperSoft Launches Global Preferred Partner Program

Open Source Business Conference -- JasperSoft Corporation, the leader in open source business intelligence reporting, today announced the JasperSoft Preferred Partner Program, a network of global solution and technology partners and consultants who provide value- added products and services for both JasperReports and JasperDecisions. The program allows ISVs and consultants to capitalize on the growing demand for localized technical expertise and support as JasperSoft's open source technology continues to gain more market share and widespread adoption with more than one million downloads worldwide to date.

The program offers partners two levels of participation: JasperSoft Preferred ISV Partner and JasperSoft Consulting Partner.

-- JasperSoft Preferred ISV Program is focused on companies that have

embedded JasperReports and/or iReports, JasperReports' open source

report designer, into their for-sale proprietary applications.

-- JasperSoft Consulting Partner Program is for consulting services

organizations that provide reporting and analytical services leveraging

JasperReports and iReport technologies.

More than a dozen partners have joined the program, with many already delivering new products and services to joint customers.

New Partnerships Deliver Results

As JasperSoft partners, ISVs and consulting companies will also be able to speed development and delivery of applications with rich BI functionality without passing along additional licensing fees.

"Several TuringSMI products, including our Financial Institution Query Management System (FIQS) product for logging and reporting trades, embed JasperReports. We have a Top 10 Global Investment Bank that uses FIQS, with JasperReports and iReports as the reporting foundation. Per CPU licensing, which is typical of commercial BI software, just isn't feasible for companies doing as much volume reporting as this current customer needs," said Jay Moore, CTO of TuringSMI, a leading global provider of IT Service Management and Infrastructure Management solutions. -- Javlin Consulting is the leading provider of consultancy and

professional services in the open source ETL market. Javlin Consulting

provides both a quality open source product and a commercial package

that has a number of enhancements. Javlin Consulting is based in the

Czech Republic and is part of the Javlin Limited group, which is based

in the UK.

-- NIIT Technologies is a global IT solutions organization, offering

services in application development and maintenance, enterprise

solutions including managed services and business process management to

organizations in the financial services, transportation, retail and

manufacturing sectors.

-- OpenCrowd is a leading professional services firm that helps

organizations leverage open source software to provide high value

business and technology solutions.

-- TechnoDex, has created TechnoDex Enterprise Solution Platform,

Malaysia's first home-grown open source-based technology platform which

is comparable to the proprietary platforms offered by Microsoft and

Sun Microsystems.
