Linux online poker players get complete resource and information on how to play online poker for free using Linux
Monday, 20 February 2006 Compatiblepoker.com has added a full Linux poker section on how there are 3 different ways to play online poker using Linux at www.Compatiblepoker.com. The top three ways to play Linux poker is explained at the Linux poker page at http://www.compatiblepoker.com/Linux+Poker+Online.cms.htm where players can choose a Java poker room, perform a dual boot, or run Wine. The owner of Compatiblepoker.com says they have figured out a way for Linux users to be able to play at just about any online poker room they want. Previously players had to simply choose Java versions but now Compatiblepoker has released all the nitty gritty little tid bits Linux poker players must know. In addition to the Linux poker section a Linux casino section was added as well. The Linux casinos will run on Flash or players can choose to run Wine or Dual boot to play at any other Windows based online casino. The first option of running the Java version seems to be the least complicated way addressed at Compatiblepoker. The Java technique simply lets the user pick a Java based poker room from the website and sign up and play for free. The second step of running a dual boot is for advanced Linux users. This option lets users run Windows and Linux on the same computer. Windows would need to be purchased for this option. The third option of running Wine seems to be very popular among Linux users. Running Wine and choosing a proper poker room at Compatiblepoker allows for greater flexibility. Compatiblepoker lists which poker rooms run best using Wine. Compatiblepoker.com says they are the only website to offer so many different options for Linux poker players. They also noted that they provide complete details on how to run any of the versions listed above. ( www.compatiblepoker.com )
