LQ Bookmarks - Social Bookmarking, Tagging and Annotation for Linux and Open Source
Monday, 11 July 2005LinuxQuestions.org is proud to announce a new addition to its network of sites - LQ Bookmarks (http://bookmarks.linuxquestions.org/). LQ Bookmarks allows you to bookmark, tag, annotate and share links to Open Source and Linux related sites. It also allows you to access your bookmarks from any browser on any machine. The ability to share and see what others are sharing is called social bookmarking. You can view links in the order they were added, by tag, by user or by popularity. RSS feeds are available for all queries. All content on the site is available under a Creative Commons license.
"LQ Bookmarks will allow you to not only share, tag and annotate the Linux and Open Source sites you frequent, but see what everyone else is sharing, tagging and annotating. It's sort of a random stream of consciousness or instant snapshot of what is important to the Linux and Open Source community, right now", said site founder Jeremy Garcia.
About LinuxQuestions.org: LinuxQuestions.org is a free, friendly and active Linux Community with over 180,000 members and over 1,700,000 posts.
