Marriott Named in Top 20 as a 'Best Place to Work in Information Technology' by Computerworld

WASHINGTON, June 22 /PRNewswire/ IDG's Computerworld has named Marriott International, Inc., (NYSE: MAR) as one of the "Best Places to Work in IT" for the fourth year in a row. Marriott placed 19th among the top 100 companies, and ranked among the top 10 companies for diversity, as reflected in the number of women and minorities in staff and managerial positions. The Best Places to Work list is an annual ranking of the top 100 work environments for technology professionals compiled by Computerworld. The list is based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, diversity, career development, training and retention. In addition, the magazine conducts extensive surveys of IT workers, and their responses factor heavily in determining the rankings.
