ModernBill Extends Support For Ensim Pro for Windows
Monday, 21 November 2005Moderngigabyte, LLC, the dominant automated billing solution for the hosting industry, and Ensim Corporation, a leader in service enablement and automation software solutions, today announced that support for Ensim Pro for Windows 4.0 (www.ensim.com) has been added to ModernBill 4.3.3 (www.modernbill.com). This integration will give Ensim Pro for Windows customers an affordable billing and order management solution for managing the hosting businesses.
Ensim Pro is the leading native Windows-based control panel available, providing the most robust hosting automation solution to deploy, configure and manage commercial-quality Web sites for shared and dedicated offerings. This latest integration provides its customers with increased flexibility and cost savings.
“As a majority of our customers now offer both Linux and Windows-based solutions, we are delighted to provide them with a billing solution as powerful as Modernbill. Service providers can now easily run Modernbill on both Ensim Pro for Linux and Windows, thus greatly simplifying their operations,” said Kevin Farrell, Senior VP, Strategy and Product Management.
Modernbill has maintained the integration for Ensim Pro for Linux for several years. Now those Linux hosting businesses can add Ensim Windows hosting to there existing business seamlessly. ModernBill can support both version of Ensim Pro simultaneously from one installation, giving hosting companies greater flexibility in their offerings. Ensim Pro for Windows customers will be able to automatically take orders, register domains, sell SSL certificates and create the hosting account on the server. Integrated fraud screening tools help minimize risk while giving owners control over their level of automation.
“As a long time partner of Ensim, we are excited to deliver this new functionality to their existing customer base while opening greater opportunities for those looking to enter the Windows hosting market,” said Jon McCarrick, Director of Marketing and Sales at ModernGigabyte. “By giving hosting companies the ability to adopt a single platform regardless of operating system, they can reduce costs, offer a consistent user experience and improve their core competencies.
Resellers have already begun to pair up the two solutions. "We find that being able to offer a complete solution makes a great value add for our customers," said Daniel Kimball, VP of Sales and Marketing for VIA USA.
