nuBridges Releases truExchange EDI-INT for Linux
Tuesday, 8 November 2005nuBridges LLC, a leading provider of eBusiness community management solutions, today announced the immediate availability of its latest release of truExchange EDI-INT for Linux, a packaged product built on its flagship truExchange platform. As the Linux application market continues to grow and large enterprise adoption is on the rise, nuBridges (www.nubridges.com) delivers the market’s most advanced Linux-based software for electronic data interchange, imperative for streamlining any business-to-business transaction. The new release of truExchange EDI-INT forLinux provides significant security and workflow enhancements.
“Today’s dynamic environment requires partners and customers to communicate and act on real-time information,” said Wain Kellum, CEO of nuBridges. “With truExchange EDI-INT forLinux , we deliver what companies need to achieve this streamlined environment: immediate connectivity that allows our customers to do more of their business online and do it—quickly, efficiently and securely.”
EDI-INT provides guidelines for encryption, decryption and confirmations of transaction exchanges over the Internet. nuBridges’ truExchange EDI-INT forLinux meets the industry’s need for a fast, secure and affordable way to connect, integrate and manage relationships with electronic trading communities. Unlike other EDI-INT solutions, nuBridges’ solution allows organizations to run secure EDI-INT transactions within their existing network infrastructure. Additionally, this latest release enables companies to comply with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations for securing and auditing eBusiness transactions.
EDI-INT for Linux maintains the integrity and security of documents with respect to the Application Standard 2 (AS2) protocol allowing companies to meet the strict regulations. It offers customers a robust solution for data exchanges regardless of how the information is structured—EDI, XML, text, or binary file types. truExchange EDI-INT forLinux provides integration with AS2 proxy services in nuBridges’ truExchange Secure Transaction Manager (STM) and with the workflow framework integral to the truExchange platform. Key new features include:
• Complete Transaction Visibility—full tracking and audit capabilities for all inbound and outbound transactions, as well as session and history logs with separate user views based on user authentication into a tracking portal—designed for SOX compliancy.
• Improved MDN (Message Delivery Notification) Tracking with Exception Monitoring—built using the workflow capabilities within the truExchange platform, this features allows any type of condition to be monitored with automated problem escalation and alerts sent to users.
• Security Enhancements—integration with AS2 proxy services in truExchange STM. The integration allows companies to implement intruder detection, secure private keys and decrypt data behind their firewalls. Additionally, it enables companies to lock down firewalls by establishing secure gateways through the Secure Transaction Manager to support comprehensive compliance with SOX and PCI regulations.
• Splitting of EDI and XML files by Business Partner—splits bulk document files and distributes individual documents to proper business partners in their preferred format. Based on message level identifiers such as EDI ISA/GS identifiers, this feature allows clients to transact with many trading partners without building separate directories for storing unique partner transactions.
truExchange EDI-INT for Linux extends the nuBridges product line for EDI-INT transacting. As an eBusinessReady® certified product, truExchange EDI-INT offers customers the most reliable, feature-rich, secure solution for exchanging business information with trading partners.
