OSS CEO to Speak in New York on Pathology of Secrecy, and Emergence of Collective Public Intelligence

"I will speak on Saturday about the pathology of secrecy, where people like Henry Kissinger make bad decisions based on highly classified but often wrong information, while shutting out intelligent iconoclasts who are closer to ground truth. There is also an emerging literature on how a life-long immersion in the classified world can make many people clinically insane, I will touch on this as well.

"On Sunday I will join Howard and Dr. James Hughes to talk about the emergence of collective public intelligence. I anticipate legislation sponsoring an Open Source Agency in the near future, and believe that the day will come when there is a Public Daily Brief that is vastly superior to the President's Daily Brief, a highly classified mish-mash with little strategic value. It will raise the bar, and force the classified world to do better.
