BindView Expands Training Suite with Customized e-Learning

Expanding its global training and education services, BindView Corp. (Nasdaq:BVEW) today announced the availability of new e-learning capabilities for customers and partners that complement current instructor-led training. Organizations are now able to access BindView e-learning courses 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week, anywhere there is Internet access. As an added benefit, participants earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits with successful completion of course work.


To develop the e-learning classes, BindView has formed a partnership with Synergistx, a global leader in Internet-based learning management systems. Using proven learning methodologies, courses are designed to provide innovative and effective Web-enabled classes offering organizations enhanced knowledge of BindView products and increased ROI from BindView solutions.

For beginner courses and intermediate-level training, e-learning has proven to be one of the most effective and cost-efficient methods. BindView initially will offer the e-learning courses for bv-Control for Internet Security and bv-Control for UNIX products, including Linux, SUSE Linux, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX and HP UX. Additional classes will be added during the next 12 months.
