Pi Sigma Group (PSG) Acquires V.R. Systems

The Pi Sigma Group of Rockville, Maryland, an industry leading dual shore IT consulting and software development company announced this afternoon that it had acquired VR Systems of Hillsborough, New Jersey in a stock transaction. VR Systems Inc., is a privately held IT Consulting and Professional staffing firm and was founded in 1994 and serves a large, diverse group of IT clients in the Northeast. The acquisition brings the total to five companies now part of the Pi Sigma Group.

VR Systems is headed by Founder and President Radha Visweswar. "I believe that there is a unique fit between VR Systems and Pi Sigma Group", Mr. Visweswar said, "Our experience and expertise in resource staffing and consulting meshes very well with Pi Sigma"s onshore and off shore consulting and software development practice". "This step will allow both companies to truly leverage their unique strengths in a more robust fashion" said Visweswar.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Focus Enterprises, a Washington D.C. based boutique investment bank assisted and advised Pi Sigma Group on this transaction.
