Port25 Solutions Announces Support for Goodmail CertifiedEmail on Windows; Additional Scalability on 64-Bit Linux Systems
Wednesday, 6 September 2006 Port25 Solutions, the leading provider of enterprise-class email delivery software, today announced further enhancements to its flagship message transfer (MTA) agent PowerMTA. New features include support for Goodmail's CertifiedEmail on Windows operating systems and support for 64-bit Linux systems. The first MTA solution certified and approved by Goodmail Systems, PowerMTA 3.2 includes powerful features that enable easy adoption of the latest standards for marketers and email service providers (ESPs), and integration with Goodmail CertifiedEmail. The latest incarnation is the first of its kind to include Goodmail CertifiedEmail support for the Microsoft Windows operating system, allowing senders using this platform to take advantage of the powerful union of Port25 and Goodmail in their mailings. Answering the needs of the industry's larger volume senders, PowerMTA v3.2 now allows senders to take advantage of 64-bit architecture, which is poised to become the standard in high-performance computing. "Our goal is to lead the industry in performance and flexibility, while catering to the specific requirements of ESPs, email marketers and complex customer communications," said John Karpovich, cofounder of Port25 Solutions. "We continually listen to our customers and expand the capabilities of our products to meet their needs, whether they involve incorporating new authentication and reputation standards to maximize deliverability, or providing support across various operating systems and processors." PowerMTA 3.2 is offered as a software download or turn-key appliance, and it is the only MTA designed to address the requirements specific to outbound email delivery, including per campaign delivery control, detailed delivery and error reporting; compliance with ISP delivery and good neighbor policies; and high scalability and throughput.
