Formula Telecom Announces Leap NextGen Version 3.5

Formula Telecom Solutions, Ltd. (FTS), a developer and a global provider of Billing and CRM solutions for the telecom industry, and a member of the Formula Group (NASDAQ: FORTY - News), today announced the availability of Leap NextGen version 3.5, a carrier grade complete online charging, real-time rating & billing solution for wireless, wire-line, cable, ISP, content and advanced service providers. Leap NextGen is already deployed in Europe and is also being distributed in the North American and Asia markets.

Leap NextGen V3.5 delivers broader functionality, superior performance and stronger ntegration capabilities and offers outstanding flexibility, thereby enabling operators to self configure and deploy new services and business rules.

The new version supports the rating of external subscribers and non-subscriber usage. Rated usage can be exported and billed by the incumbent operator, enabling an external subscriber to register for selected offers while still receiving his charges through his regular service provider's bill. This allows providers to extend their offerings such as content and online services beyond their direct subscribers, to the general public.

System performance is improved through refining both rating and billing throughput. Leap NextGen achieves linear performance scaling and excellent event-processing response time.
