The first annual Red Hat Summit will be held in New Orleans June 1-3. "HP has been a strategic partner to Red Hat for over 5 years, we are very pleased to have them join us at the Summit," said Ed Boyajian, Vice President of Global Alliances at Red Hat. "Red Hat Summit attendees will definitely benefit from learning about real-world implementations, and open source strategies directly from industry leaders."

"As the platinum sponsor, HP is excited to partner with Red Hat to present the first annual Red Hat Summit," said Martin Fink, vice president of Linux at HP. "The open source movement has revolutionized the way we think about IT solutions, support, and the integration of open source with traditional commercial solutions. The Red Hat Summit will be an excellent opportunity to highlight the latest in open source technology, innovation, solutions, and support we can provide to our customers today."
