Red Hat Tops CertCities.com List of Hottest Certifications for 2006

In addition, RHCE was again named "Best Linux/Unix Certification" in the publication's Annual Readers' Choice Awards. Red Hat is the world's largest vendor of open source training and certification by revenue, sales, number of certified professions, courses available and locations served.

CertCities.com's annual "10 Hottest Certifications for 2006" is awarded to the certification programs deemed as "most influential in 2006," based on expectations around growth and demonstrating "the true future of IT certification." Data is culled from the publication's annual readers' survey, combined with qualitative feedback on reputation, value and recognition, and then distilled by the editorial staff to determine the honorees.
