Runtime Revolution Announces Third Free Programming Conference
Tuesday, 31 May 2005Runtime Revolution (www.runrev.com) and major-k (www.major-k.de) announce the line-up of the third free online programming conference for Revolution users. The conference will take place at 15:30 GMT on 28th May 2005 and will be presented by Klaus Major of major-k and covers how to use controls. In common with other conferences it will be moderated by Jacqueline Landman Gay of Hyperactive Software (www.hyperactivesw.com).
The conference starts with a moderated session which will focus on the learning objectives, it will be followed by an open session where attendees can ask questions. Topics covered in this conference include:
An introduction to the types of controls Important properties to use when developing controls Using icons on buttons Check boxes, radio buttons and tabbed buttons Fields, including how to import and export text files Scroll bars and progress bars Graphics Using the set command The conference is free and open to all, including those who are using the free trial edition of Revolution.
