Softabar Password Manager Remembers Your Passwords and Keeps Them Safe
Tuesday, 5 July 2005Softabar Password Manager is a multi-platform (Windows, Linux, Mac) software for managing user names, passwords and other account information and storing them securely.
Internet users who have many user names and passwords will find Softabar Password Manager useful. The software uses encryption to keep passwords secure and frees users from remembering all various passwords to different services.
Users can add, edit, delete and find accounts. With built-in views users can display accounts by name or user name and users can also add custom views and choose only the relevant accounts for display, such as user names or account names which are the same.
Softabar Password Manager includes functions to export accounts to a file, open an account web page directly from the software and copy user name and/or password to clipboard for easy access.
Customizable password generator increases security when users use Internet services by generating random passwords for different services.
Softabar Password Manager is developed with the Eclipse Rich Client Platform. The Eclipse Rich Client Platform is part of the Eclipse Project which develops industry platform for integrated tools and rich client applications. For more information about Eclipse, visit www.eclipse.org.
