Stellar Information releases data recovery software for Mac OS hard drives

The software is compatible with all the latest versions of Mac OS X (10.1 -- 10.4), including Tiger, Panther and Jaguar. Stellar Phoenix Macintosh performs exhaustive scans of the volume to locate lost partitions. All found data in the lost partition is then displayed in a simple tree structure and a copy of all lost files can then be copied to a working volume. The software comes with an enhanced Graphical User Interface to offer users a comfortable and rich user experience. Additionally, advanced options such as File Filter, Save Scan and Find are available to streamline the recovery process. The software is available both in the ESD form (downloadable) and in a physical disc (CD-ROM), and can be purchased for a price $199 onwards depending on the license option.
