Systinet Releases Server For IBM WebSphere MQ

Monday, 13 December 2004

Systinet, a maker of SOA governance and lifecycle management products, today announced the release of Systinet Server for IBM WebSphere MQ. This product is the latest in the company's standards-based Web services infrastructure family for Java, C/C++, and message-oriented middleware (MOM) applications.

The Systinet Server for IBM WebSphere MQ connects proprietary IBM MQ applications to any standards-based Web services endpoint by providing an abstraction layer that preserves the functionality of the MQ application while providing support for Web services standards such as WS-ReliableMessing, WS-Eventing, WS-Addressing, and WS-Security. The product also includes a content-based routing Web service that creates routing scenarios based on message content. This service allows implementation of service level agreement (SLA) levels and routing based on amounts, regions and other criteria.

Real-world SOA means building a services layer of abstraction on top of heterogeneous IT environments," said Jason Bloomberg, a senior analyst with ZapThink LLC, in a statement. "By building standards-based bridges to existing MOM technologies like WebSphere MQ, Systinet enables companies to craft scalable, loosely coupled services that leverage a broad range of existing technologies."

Systinet Server for IBM WebSphere MQ is available immediately. A free download for evaluation is available at www.systinet.com. Typical configuration pricing begins at $35,000.
