The Web's Premier Linux Bit Torrent Download Resource
Sunday, 8 January 2006 According to LinuxJournal (http://www.linuxjournal.com/xstatic/affiliates) LinuxTracker.org is the Web's Premier Linux Download Resource. Beginning in early February of 2005, Linuxtracker.org began providing a free bit torrent tracking service for Linux distributions. providing a tracker for those distributions who needed one, and a way to help promote torrents for distributions who already have trackers. Several distributions use http://linuxtracker.org as their sole tracker, including SymphonyOS (http://symphonyos.com/) and several other growing distributions. This past year LinuxTracker.org merged with several other linux torrent sites, Linuxisotorrents.org, linuxtorrent.com and linuxtorrents.org all help provide one central location for the distribution of Linux Torrents. Among the featurs added were forums, a request system and several other improvements to the site. In the coming year, LinuxTracker.org is looking to add several new features to the site, extend advertising to cover a wider range of Linux sites, and is in the process of partnering up with several other sites to create a nice network of Linux Resources. If you haven't book marked http://linuxtracker.org yet, you will want to before too long. LinuxTracker.org is currently tracking over 900 torrents, with over 25k peers (seeders and leachers) connected to our network of both local and external torrents.
