UC4 Software Increases Sales by 20 Percent
Tuesday, 26 July 2005Continuing its trend of steady growth and customer satisfaction, UC4 Software, the global technology leader in enterprise job scheduling and data center automation, announced the company will close the first half of the year 2005 with $16.8 million in revenue. With a 20 percent increase in revenue over the same period last year, UC4 Software experienced growth across all business units -- services, maintenance and licenses -- with revenue generated from licenses increasing by more than 30 percent.
"One of the most interesting figures coming from our half-year results is that the average deal size increased by 10 percent," said Mark Loehr, COO of UC4 Software. "This figure illustrates the greater demand from large corporations for enterprise-wide job scheduling and support." Through world-wide sales and support offices, UC4 Software added 51 new customers during the first half of the year including Mazda Motor Logistics Europe, Toyota Financial Services, Delhaize Group and the University of Colorado, which is one of 33 new U.S.-based customers.
In order to meet the needs of prospective customers, UC4 Software added six members to its sales force in the U.S. and Germany. "We welcome the opportunity to work with the world's top companies," Loehr said. "However, our growth has not been limited to new customers; numerous current customers are upgrading projects and purchasing additional licenses." "As we continue to grow with new customers and partners, we maintain our strong commitment to research and development as well as customer support," Loehr said. "Our positive customer feedback demonstrates that we are delivering the service and support that we promise, which is assuring to our new customers."
