VA Software Expands European Market Presence for SourceForge Enterprise Edition With ASERVO Partnership

VA Software Corporation (NASDAQ: LNUX), a leading provider of software, information and community support for IT and development professionals, today announced a relationship with ASERVO AG, a Germany-based IT services company. As an authorized reseller of SourceForge Enterprise Edition, ASERVO provides valuable sales, marketing, technical support and post-sales customer support for central Europe, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The partnership and SourceForge® Enterprise Edition product family will be showcased beginning tomorrow, January 17, 2006 at the OOP 2006 conference in Munich, Germany. SourceForge Enterprise Edition is used by many global enterprises who develop software in a collaborative distributed environment. Global familiarity with the SourceForge brand has accelerated from increased awareness in SourceForge.net, the world's largest collaborative development environment and download repository of Open Source applications.
