Vibrens Accelent DevkitIDP Reference Design Now Supports Embedded Linux
Monday, 20 December 2004Vibren Technologies, an industry leader in embedded systems engineering, today announced that its Accelent DevkitIDP® for the Intel PXA255 Applications Processor now provides support for the LynuxWorks® BlueCat® Embedded Linux® operating system. Vibren’s Accelent DevkitIDP lets embedded engineers create mobile and other devices based on Intel’s PXA255 processor. BlueCat Embedded Linux from LynuxWorks is an implementation of the Linux model (based on the Linux 2.6 kernel) that has been optimized for embedded applications.
Because Vibren has added BlueCat Embedded Linux support to the Vibren Accelent DevkitIDP, engineers can now rapidly develop devices that run industry-standard Linux. With the addition of BlueCat Embedded Linux support, Vibren now provides a comprehensive developer’s kits for embedded system design.
