Tuesday, 5 July 2005Denver-based Zizasoft LLC, announces the release of zsDuplicateHunter version 2.20.
ZsDuplicateHunter allows lets you easily find and safely remove duplicate files from a computer to save hard drive space and make common operations like backups and searches faster. With the release of version 2.20, zsDuplicateHunter is offered in two versions. The Standard Edition of zsDuplicateHunter contains basic functionality and has been designed for ease of use and safety when deleting duplicate files. The Professional Edition extends the Standard Edition by adding additional features needed by power users.
The new instructional dialogs in zsDuplicateHunter help to guide inexperienced users through the process of finding and removing duplicate files. An introductory dialog explains how to select the folders to search for duplicates and how to choose the grouping options to use for the duplicate hunt. After the duplicate hunt has been completed, zsDuplicateHunter allows you to view the duplicate files in two different formats either by path or by group. In version 2.20, zsDuplicateHunter gives you a simple method of selecting the method of deleting duplicate files and presents you with a detailed explanation of what the deletion method does and how to use it. You can also preview files in their associated viewer before deleting them with the Open in Viewer command.
The new Professional Edition of zsDuplicateHunter adds advanced functionality needed by power users to the basic functionality offered in the Standard Edition. The Professional Edition contains three methods of deleting duplicate files which are not found in the Standard Edition.
